Alive and twinkin’

Hello out there! I’m still alive and well. Well, not that well, but good enough. Had some "downtime" last week, that kept me away from work and blogging regularly. ;-)

On a positive side-note, I should admit that my psychical blockade of leveling Rancora is gone for good. The last few days have been quite fun and very productive.

I hit 65 just this weekend and it’s fun to do, after all. I have no idea what kept me from going on. But whatever it was, it’s gone now.

A quick site-note on the poor little warrior who’s name is Rancora:

Rancora was created as an experiment, while I was still leveling my first toon, Aylah, to the cap of 60. I was going full-time restoration with Aylah and I wanted to try something completely different. It took some time to get Rancora to 60, and I have to admit that I did a lot of grinding to accomplish this goal. I picked two gathering professions, Mining and Skinning for her and pretty much ignored any secondary professions.

So… flash forward to now. I have a warrior at level 61. Finally broke through the mental block that kept me leveling her and had a good hard look at her.

The two gathering Professions are in a good shape. I can skin anything I can kill and I’m already able to mine Adamantite nodes. Ok, so far. Fishing is at Skill Level 1, I guess I can live with that. Cooking is at somewhere below 100. Not ok, but no problem, since I have two chars with cooking at 375. And I have First Aid at… 75… wtf??!

What was I doing? How could I level a Warrior to 60, nay 61, without skilling First Aid?? Now, that gave me an headache. ;-)

I pondered with skilling First Aid before going on, but ultimately decided against it. I was in a mood to play her, and did not wanted to risk that.

Right now, I’m finishing up the last quests left in Terrokar Forest and will be heading over to Nagrand then. I suppose I will be 66 by then, and 70 by the end of all the Blade’s Edge Mountains quests. That would give me 2 full Zones to quest for cash. Which should hopefully fund my Swift Flight Form skill for Aylah. ^^

I suppose once I’m done questing, I will send Rancora to the Battlegrounds and Arenas, and try to do some decent PvP for my first time ever… *shudder*
